Install the app and complete the first setup

Install from the App Store, pick a plan, sync your store details and choose a theme.

Updated 2026-10-18

1. Install

  1. Open the app's listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
  2. Approve the permissions Shopify shows. The app reads orders, draft orders and customers to render documents. It writes to your store only when you ask it to: order tags and metafields through the Shopify Flow actions, and the buyer VAT number you enter on an order.
  3. The app opens inside your Shopify admin.

2. Pick a plan

The first screen asks you to choose a plan. Small Business is free (25 documents a month). Every paid plan starts a 7-day free trial through Shopify's billing page; you approve the charge there and are returned to the app. See Plans and limits.

3. Sync your store details

  1. Go to Settings → Store & Branding.
  2. Click Sync from Shopify to pull your store name, owner, email, phone and address.
  3. Upload a logo (and a signature image if you print one). Add your VAT or company registration number if your documents must show it.
  4. Save.

4. Choose a theme

Open Templates. Horizon is active by default. Hover another theme and choose Use this template, or open its preview to adjust colours and labels first. See Built-in themes and the theme preview.

5. Print your first invoice

Open Orders, pick any order and click the print, email or download icon in its row. The first PDF on a new installation may take a few seconds longer while the renderer warms up.
