Customer Invoice Download Links

Switching it on

1. Go to Settings → Customer Invoice Download Links.
2. Switch Customer Invoice Download Links on.

Links are signed with a per-store secret and work for invoices only. Regenerate Secret invalidates every link already sent.

Order confirmation email

Copy the Email Snippet into Shopify's Order confirmation notification (Settings → Notifications in your admin). The link opens the PDF for that order.

Customer account order page (classic accounts)

Copy the Theme Snippet into your theme's order page template (main-order.liquid).

The Download Invoice block (Thank You page and new customer accounts)

1. In your Shopify admin open Settings → Checkout → Customize.
2. Switch to the Thank you or Order status page.
3. Choose Add app block, pick Download Invoice and drag it where you want the button. Set alignment, label and tone in the block settings.
4. Save.

The button appears for customers signed in to their account on the Thank You page and in the new customer accounts. It hides itself for guest checkouts and on stores still using classic customer accounts, and shows a disabled placeholder only in the editor.

Link Path

Shopify gives each store its own path for the app's proxy (normally /apps/invoice-download, but a store can carry a different or suffixed one). The Link Path card shows the path in use. The app learns the real one from the first download; you can also paste it from Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → the app → App proxy.
