Pattern

Write a pattern with tokens: {seq} (the counter, zero-padded to the width you set), {order_number}, {order_name}, {YYYY}, {YY}, {MM}, {DD}. Everything else prints as written. INV-{YYYY}-{seq} gives INV-2026-00042.

Two modes

• Sequential: the pattern contains {seq}; numbers are gap-free and allocated once per order.
• Order number: the number is derived from the Shopify order number or name, with your prefix and date tokens; no counter.

Reset period

Never, yearly or monthly. A new period starts at 1.

Next number

Shows the live counter. Raise it to continue a sequence from a previous system; it cannot go below the highest number already issued.
