Languages
Twelve document languages on every plan; per-customer language and per-language label editing on Large Business and above.
Document Language (all plans)
Pick one of English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) or Arabic. Every label the themes print is translated. Localized Date Formats lets the default date pattern follow the language.
Auto — match the customer (Large Business and above)
Documents follow each customer, based on the checkout language or on the billing country. Customers whose language is not supported or not enabled get the Document Language. A custom template can pin its own language in Template Settings → Language.
Document Labels (Large Business and above)
- Enable the languages your customers use.
- Click Edit Labels on a row to change any heading, column or row label in that language. English is a row too, so you can rename "Qty" or "Bill To" without editing a template.
- Clearing a field returns it to the built-in wording.
The wording applies to every template printed in that language. A label you customised inside a template keeps that template's own wording.
